Warranty and Terms

Spy Guys Inc. guarantees all products to be free of defects in workmanship and material for the time period referenced below from the date of purchase by the original buyer . We will replace or repair, at our option providing there is no evidence of customer misuse, accident, alteration, abuse or faulty installation . Should we be unable to repair or replace the exact product model within a reasonable amount of time, an upgrade to a model of equal or greater value may be accepted, at our discretion.

Digital Video Recordering Systems (DVR'S) 2 Year **

All other systems come with a one year warranty. Extened warranties can be purchased.

 

Return Policy Returns only apply if a defect is evident. If you believe a product is defective, please call us for instruction and an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. Any return sent without prior authorization will be denied, automatically returned without prior notice, and a handling fee will be accessed. Please call us for an RMA form.  Under no circumstances will returns be accepted if the original package and original parts/contents are not maintained and if a copy of the sales receipt or invoice is not enclosed. Any missing items from the original package will be charged on a per item basis. RMAs are valid 10 days from the date of authorization. This warranty will not apply to defects or damage resulting from; improper or inadequate maintenance or neglect by customer; customer-supplied parts; unauthorized modification or misuse; operation outside of the environmental specifications for the products; improper site preparation and maintenance; product which have been modified or incorporated into other products; use of other companies parts or accessories, either new or remanufactured. Any alterations to the unit voids all warranty and obligation. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges on returns. This unit should be mailed back prepaid by insured parcel post to ISpy Guys Inc. If the parcel was not insured and the return refused, the buyer is responsible for any loss or damage. In addition to less S & H Charges, some returns are subject to a 15% - 25% restocking fee at our discretion.

Spy Guys Inc. makes no further warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event will Spy Guys Inc. be responsible for an incidental or consequential damages, including damage to any closed circuit video equipment.

Legal Status of Products

It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain and comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws in regard to the profession and use of any items purchased. Consult an attorney regarding such laws before placing an order. Check your local state law for audio recording. By placing an order, the buyer represents that he or she is of legal age and agrees to use the product only in a lawful manner. We assume no liability associated with product usage.
